Watch: Full-Length Super Bowl Spot For ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Plus 4-Minute Trailer

Watch: Full-Length Super Bowl Spot For 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Plus 4-Minute Trailer

You saw the first part/teaser last week, now here’s the real deal: the full-length Super Bowl spot for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” And not only that, but also a 4-minute Enemies Unite sizzle reel/trailer for the sequel.

As you know, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are back doing their thing as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy (with the latter heavily rumored to be headed toward her death somewhere in the subsequent sequels), while villains abound with Electro (Jamie Foxx), Rhino (Paul Giamatti), Green Goblin/Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) all making pit stops in Marc Webb‘s films. Now that the origin story is out of the way, what are your expectations for the franchise? Let us know in the comments section.

Watch both Super Bowl parts and the sizzle reel below. “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” opens on May 2nd.

This is what I think is gonna happen: Norman is going to test the Goblin Serum on Harry, and send him on a mission to fight Spider-man with Electro and Rhino, and see how well it works, and if it is enough to cure him. Then, Harry, Electro, and Rhino attempt to kill Gwen, but Spidey saves her, and beats the crap out of them, putting them in Ravencroft and Norman will make a stronger version of it, this time testing it out on himself. He becomes a full-out monster, looking like the Ultimate version of the Goblin, and throws Gwen off the bridge, this time Gwen dies from a neck break when Peter tries to catch her with a web. Peter then nearly beats the Goblin to death, but he reverts back to Norman Osborn, and dies from his illness, as the stronger Goblin serum wore off. The Gentlemen recruits Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, Doc Ock, and hires them to break Harry, Electro, and Rhino, forming the Sinister Six, and keeps them in the basement levels of Oscorp to devise a plan to take out Spider-man. It ends with Peter, Aunt May, and Gwen's family at her funeral.

What was the name of that song in the Sizzle? It started picking up around when Electro gets his powers, and its awesome.

Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst utterly nailed Spider-Man TEN YEARS AGO! This version might be fun, but it's merely an imitation.

Green Lantern/Harry Osborn? Huh?

:P

RIP Gwen

The Superbowl spot is misleading. Gwen's gonna die, yo. Look at Peter screaming in anguish in the second Sizzle trailer. :)

Personally I think the Enemies Unite sizzle reel is a bit long.
