All subsequent episodes will air Saturdays at 9pm

The LIVE season premiere of The Soul Man will air on all three networks immediately following the LIVE season premiere of Hot in Cleveland, airing on TV Land at 10pm ET/PT

“We are so proud of ‘The Soul Man’ and its appeal to all audiences,” said Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land. “BET has been a fantastic partner on this series and with CENTRIC now coming on board, we’re thrilled that even more viewers will have the opportunity to see the show across multiple Viacom properties. Going live on one network is big enough, but going live on three networks is a true programming event.”

“We are excited to have worked alongside our sister network, TV Land, to bring a great show like ‘The Soul Man’ to CENTRIC as it’s a perfect fit for us, especially given our rich history with Cedric ‘The Entertainer,'” said Paxton Baker, General Manager and Executive Vice President, CENTRIC. “We look forward to sharing more great content within Viacom Networks and continuously finding cross-platform opportunities to bring to our audiences.”

“The Soul Man” stars CedricThe Entertainer” and Niecy Nash and follows R&B superstar-turned-minister Reverend BoyceThe VoiceBallentine (Cedric) after he relocated from Las Vegas to St. Louis with his wife Lolli (Nash). While learning to adjust to their new humble life, they have plenty of obstacles in their way. One of these is Boyce’s brother Stamps (Wesley Jonathan), who seems to have taken up permanent residence in their house – and that’s only made worse when Stamps sparks a new relationship with Lolli’s sister (Kellee Stewart).
