This is fantastic and I can't wait to see it. The Smiths did an amazing job of making this film into an reimaging starring a Beautiful Black Girl. I recommend everyone see this film come December 2014!!!!!

Glad i don't have any elementary school age children or grands to nag me come December 2014.

The "Annie" trailer is trending news on facebook, but only has 7 comments here (now 8 counting mine). I thought there would be more chatter on S&A about this. I can't wait to see Quvenzhane in this role!

I saw some previews/trailer for this on ET last night and it looks great!
Black parents, in particular, but all parents in general should run to the theater
opening weekend to take their children. Miss Wallis certainly has more talent
and re-interprets the role in a more refreshing and uplifting manner than Willow
Smith would have. … Great recasting!!!

I don't like musicals and I wasn't interested in seeing this when it was first mentioned last year, but I've changed my mind. It seems like it's going to be better than I thought. Besides, I'm definitely here for a talented black girl with natural hair as the lead. How could I not put my money behind such a rarity?

I actually saw the first looks at this film and thought it would be pretty bad. It seems like it will be kinda interesting…I don't know about Cameron Diaz though. It's the perfect Christmas kiddie movie. I don't see what all the negativity is about.

It's not like Annie is the best story ever created.

This new up-to-date version of "Annie" maybe lack-luster with the film critics and Playlist commentators, but after showing the trailer to my young daughters they give it a thumbs up.
As mother that's all what matters.
Three thumbs up for "Annie" in this household.

Never in my entire life have I wanted to un-see something so bad.

The Game Plan looked better than this. Such a shame, especially with a solid cast.

Doesn't look as bad as I expected. I hope it does well.
