Listen To a Snippet of Robyn's New Single (Sort of)

As far as we’re concerned, Robyn is basically responsible for a good quarter of the best pop songs of the past decade, and there’s few things were anticipating more than her follow-up to 2010’s epic three-part “Body Talk” (which spawned, among others, “Dancing On My Own,” “Call Your Girlfriend,” “Hang With Me” and “None of Dem”). And while that isn’t officially happening, she has announced a “mini-album” in collaboration with fellow Scandinavian Rökysopp called “Do It Again” which will be released on May 26th.

“I’ve been going back and forth to Bergen to record and write with the Röyksopp boys up until recently. It started to feel more like a band thing than songs for a Röyksopp or Robyn album so we´re releasing this music together as a band you could say,” Robyn said on their website, which also announces dates for a summer tour (including stops in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles) and — AND — a snippet of the first single, “Monument,” which is a little less upbeat than we’re used to from Robyn, but very promising nonetheless.
