Paris Co-production Village June 12-13th / Looking for US Projects at Script Stage

Les Arcs European Film Festival, with Champs-Elysées Film Festival, will launch the Paris Co-production Village taking place June 12-13, 2014. This new initiative is a development and financing platform for feature projects selected worldwide by both French film festivals. The event aims to encourage European professionals to get involved in international co-productions.

During this two-day event, 12 to 15 international film projects destined for French or European co-production will be presented
to producers, sales agents, distributors, financiers and fund representatives. In addition, the 6 residents of the Cannes Film Festival Cinéfondation will join the project selection.The participants will benefit from one-on-one pre-scheduled meetings, networking events, as well as seminars taught by leading film industry professionals.

This platform complements the 3rd edition of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival’s US-IN-PROGRESS program which screens 4 U.S. features
in late stage of post-production seeking sales representatives.

The Paris Co-production Village is supported by the Ile-de-France region and organized in collaboration with Cannes – Cinéfondation, Variety, ACE,
EAVE, Europa International, Europa Distribution and Ecran Total.

Application deadline: April 18th, 2014

Eligibility criteria:

– Only feature-length projects (fiction, animation and documentary) with director and script attached are eligible.

– All applications must be submitted by a production company and have secured (or under negotiation) financing from their home territory.

– Projects SHOULD NOT have French partners attached when submitted.
