WATCH: Eye-Popping Summer Movie Clips Unveiled at the MTV Movie Awards, from 'X-Men' to 'Spider-Man 2'

On Sunday night, the MTV Movie Awards unveiled an array of new footage from the studios’ VFX-packed summer movie slate. Watch them here.

Among the clips was a pivotal battle scene from Bryan Singer’s hotly anticipated “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” starring Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ellen Page and Hugh Jackman, among many other A-listers. The film hits theaters May 23.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” comes out May 2, and viewers caught a glimpse of an astonishing set piece in which Jamie Foxx as Electro battles against Andrew Garfield as the titular web-slinger in a new clip. Also unveiled were snippets from what look to be the Summer’s loudest movies: “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot,” Tom Cruise starrer “Edge of Tomorrow,” “Hercules” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction.”

You can also see clips from Seth MacFarlane’s Western comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West,” Josh Boone’s YA adaptation “The Fault in Our Stars,” a weepie teen romance based on media sensation John Green’s book starring Shailene Woodley, and a clip from R-rated comedy “Neighbors” starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron.
