WATCH: Final Trailer for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' Plus Fanboy Q&A with Jackman, Fassbender & McAvoy

The third and final trailer for director Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” one of the summer’s most hotly anticipated movies, has arrived. Watch the time-travel-centric trailer below, plus an illuminating, 20-minute Q&A with stars Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy via Yahoo! Movies.

The seventh entry in the “X-Men” film series and the third to be directed by Singer, who helmed “X-Men” (2000) and “X2” (2003), “Days of Future Past” also stars Jennifer Lawrence (reprising the role of Mystique), Patrick Stewart (Professor Xavier), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Ellen Page (Shadowcat), Hallie Berry (Storm), plus Peter Dinklage, Evan Peters and Kelsey Grammar.

This time around, the film centers on a war for mutant survival across two time periods, serving as a sequel to “The Last Stand” and “First Class,” as well as a followup to “The Wolverine

The film hits theaters in 3D on May 23 via Fox Searchlight. Recently, the eye-popping opening battle sequence was unveiled at the MTV Movie Awards. Watch it here.

The 20 minute Q&A is kind of revealing. Of course nothing of substance is said, as expected, but it's kind of obvious that while all three actors are charming, McAvoy and Jackman are comfortable in this PR banter department, while Fassbender is not. He's more reticent. McAvoy in particular is so likeable that it's a little surprising he's not a bigger star.
