My days were filled with back-to-back meetings and so I could only watch films on the Friday and Saturday before leaving Cannes on Sunday May 24 for other
parts of France. However, I did find time for the private screening of our friend and apartment-mate Cyril Morin’s second film, The Hackers, and our friend Pascal Tessaud’s debut feature in ACID, Brooklyn.
The other films I caught are below. For me the unifying theme of all was the discrepancy between those who have and those who have not. Whether it is money
or a higher status in society or other sources of power to tyrannize the weaker.
