The Inaugural Greenwich International Film Festival Will Debut in Summer 2015

This first-ever Greenwich International Film Festival (GIFF) is coming next June and will showcase over 25 films, world premieres, parties and an award ceremony.

Created by Carina Crain, Colleen deVeer, and Wendy Stapleton Reyes, the Connecticut festival will use its downtown areas to show the best in film. Although the lineup has yet to be announced, GIFF will have exciting events that will take place throughout the year, including a screening of Emily Wachtel’s comedy film “Lucky Them,” directed by Megan Griffiths. A Q&A with the filmmakers will be held on June 16th at Avon Theatre in Stamford, CT.

“The possibilities for the Greenwich International Film Festival are limitless,” said Founders Carina Crain, Colleen deVeer and Wendy Stapleton Reyes. “It is our goal that the Festival will build a reputation for the caliber of films we showcase and the unique charitable aspect that we will bring to the forefront each year.”

For more information about the festival, which will take place from June 4-7 in 2015, check out their new website over here.
