Trailer For Season 2 Of DirecTV Suspense-Drama 'Rogue' Starring Thandie Newton - Returns May 28

DirecTV announced that the second season of the suspense-drama Rogue, which stars Thandie Newton, from leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) and Greenroom Entertainment in conjunction with Momentum TV, will premiere on Wednesday, May 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT

Newton will resume her role as Grace Travis, and will be joined by Cole Hauser as the enigmatic Ethan Kelly.

Season two of the DirecTV original series will see Grace attempt to navigate a new life. But things can’t stay quiet for long. Separated from her husband, she is committed to providing a stable home for her daughter Evie (Sarah Jeffries), but those plans are thwarted by the unexpected arrival of her estranged mother Vivian (Clare Higgins). Professionally, Grace has taken a job as a handler for an FBI Task Force investigating the shadowy world of corporate espionage in San Francisco. But when her undercover operative Sarah (Aleksa Palladino) goes missing, Grace is forced to return to the life she so vehemently renounced. While undercover, Grace meets Ethan Kelly, who owns the security consulting firm Sarah was in the midst of investigating when she disappeared. Ethan has his own agenda and soon a dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues. Uncovering the truth will lead Grace to discover a dark secret in Ethan’s past; a secret that has led to betrayal and murder and that will ultimately bind Ethan and Grace’s fates together.

Season two of Rogue also stars Andrea Roth, Rupert Evans, Alec Newman, Brendan Fletcher and Clayne Crawford.

I still have yet to watch the first season in full. I’m not a DirecTV customer. It was released on DVD earlier this year, but I have no plans to buy it, and would rather wait for it to make its way to Netflix streaming. If you are a DirecTV customer, and you did watch season 1, thoughts?

A new trailer has been released and is embedded below:

YAAAS Season 2 is finally available. Season was was good as (BEEEEP)! Thandie showed a lot of true grit fighting, shooting, and taking down the bad guys in the first season. However, I noticed in this trailer for season 2 she's barely shown. That might be due to her having another child when production of it began.

I'm really hoping this second season will not make her appear to be a "co-star" in her own show as the trailer makes it seem.

Rogue season 1 was excellent. I have never been addicted to a show like I was with Rogue… up late on a work night watching next week's episode online. Thandie Newton and Martin Csokas had amazing chemistry. Can't wait for Season 2 to start.
