Set up at Sony Pictures, “Grimsby” centers on a British black ops spy (Mark Strong) who’s forced to go on the run and team up with his idiotic English football hooligan brother, played by Baron Cohen, according to The Hollywood Reporter with the exclusive.
The roles of the other cast members (including Harewood and Sidibe) are currently being kept underwraps.
The comedy is produced by Baron Cohen and Nira Park, and executive produced by Louise Rosner, Todd Schulman, Johnston, Baynham, James Biddle, Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Ant Hines and Adam McKay.
Harewood is likely best known for his role as David Estes, the Deputy Director of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, on Showtime’s hit “Homeland”), while Sidibe most recently appeared on hit FX “American Horror Story: Coven.”
