Watch Cute & Charming South African Comedy Short 'E-lectricity' (Short Shouts!)

Here’s a cute and comical short film from South Africa, written and directed by Miklas Manneke, called “E-lectricity.”

It centers on a poor township on the outskirts of Johannesburg that’s thrown into darkness every night due to a lack of electricity. And what’s worse, a paraffin shortage is threatening to make desperate matters even worse.

So it’s up to a young nerdy inventor named Walter Hiase (played by Thokozani Ngoma) to come up with a solution, after many embarrassing trials and errors.

It’s all very charming and eviromentally friendly as well.

Take a look below.
