“Guardians Of The Galaxy” has the unique distinction of being both the biggest and weirdest movie to hit the multiplex in wide release this summer. It’s a comic book movie in which the heroes include a tree and a talking raccoon. And yet, Disney and Marvel are the ones behind it, bringing this big, freaky, space adventure to screens everywhere. And today a further taste of what’s coming has arrived.
Two TV spots—one extended—have dropped for the film, hoping that you’ll get hooked on a feeling for James Gunn‘s film (sorry). And as odd as the blockbuster might’ve looked for far out, more and more “Guardians Of The Galaxy” seems like it could be a nice reprieve from a summer of sameness when it comes to tentpoles.
