Jerry Seinfeld’s web based talk show is back for its fourth season and the extended trailer shows the Crackle program going where it has never gone before: into an 18-wheeler.
Starting June 19, a new episode of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” will be available every Thursday to stream on Crackle.com, the online wing of Sony Pictures Television. It features, as the title suggests, stand up vet Jerry Seinfeld picking up a fellow comedian in a new car and making conversation at a coffee shop.
Debuting in July of 2012, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” earned a Webby Award and was nominated for an Emmy Award. The third season featured guests from Tina Fey to Howard Stern to a special “Seinfeld” reunion of sorts as Jason Alexander and Seinfeld acted in character from the landmark 1990s sit-com. This fourth season’s trailer features guests Jon Stewart, Robert Klein, Sarah Jessica Parker, Aziz Ansari and George Wallace. Not only will we see Seinfeld trying challenging new cars, but we meet Jon Stewarts handicapped dog and hear Sarah Jessica Parker’s singing voice, making season 4 well worth the wait.
