Watch: Benedict Cumberbatch Stops Nazis in First Trailer for Awards Hopeful 'The Imitation Game'

One of this year’s most anticipated films is the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring "The Imitation Game," a drama based on the real life experiences of genius mathematician Alan Turing who helped crack super-secret Nazi codes.

Turing, undoubtedly a British hero, was eventually prosecuted by the courts for being a homosexual. The trailer, however, focuses on his earlier life, particularly the dissent he faced while putting together a team for his Nazi-stopping project. Directed by Norwegian Morten Tyldum ("Headhunters"), "The Imitation Game" also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong.

"The Imitation Game" is scheduled for an awards-friendly November 21st release. The Weinstein Company is handling distribution.

Cumberbatch really pushing his acting boundaries. Really.

That's funny because there was a test screening a few weeks ago and a lot of people were raving about the film. Oh, yes. They're just random people who happen to watch it (ie not Cumberbitches).

It looks so boring. The disgusting Cumberbitches will be like hyenas trying to hype this one but nah, it's just another typical mediocre Brit drama.
