Watch: Exclusive 'Jodorowsky's Dune' 10-Minute Sequence Will Blow Your Mind

Although Frank Pavich’s documentary, “Jodorowsky’s Dune” is billed as a film that chronicles a legendary cinematic failure — specifically Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky’s failed attempt to produce a screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s storied science fiction novel “Dune” — it is perhaps more accurate to refer to the film as a celebration of the residual accomplishments that emerged from said failure.

Available on Blu-Ray and digital today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has provided Indiewire with an exclusive clip from “Jodorowsky’s Dune” for cinephiles to check out a 10-minute sequence from the beginning of the film.

The clip, which can be viewed below, focuses on showcasing and discussing the more than 3,000 images Jodorowsky commissioned French Artist Jean Giraud a.k.a. Moebius to draw up during pre-production for “Dune.”

Hooray for this. Buying the DVD now.
Rusty Baily: "I DO NOT WATCH COMMERCIALS." Funniest thing I've seen in a while.
Rusty, you missed out on a great clip, but don't buy the DVD – you'd have to go into a store! Or use a website that may have some banner ads! Look out!

I really wanted to watch this video, but it came on and started playing, THEN STOPPED. And a commercial started playing. I DO NOT WATCH COMMERCIALS. Keep your video AND your website. Sellouts.

Why weren't you showing this to promote it when it was playing in small Art-houses, like ours, two months ago? Perhaps, only to promote it's non-theatrical, home-video/streaming release?? Maybe someone will watch it on their phone and find it interesting (instead of spiritually inspiring!).
