Just when you thought no one would ever make your wildest dreams come true, and recreate the rat sticks, denim chicken, verm hats and birds with teeth of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” in Russian, it’s actually happened. Some fine nobleman or woman has done it. Glorious.
The “revamp,” entitled “It’s Always Sunny in Moscow,” premiered in Russia on the television channel THT on May 12, 2014 — it similarly centers around four friends who own a bar (called “Philadelphia” in this version): Max “Thick” Borisenko (Charlie Kelly), Sergei Kovalev (Dennis Reynolds), Alain Kovalev (Dee Reynolds) and Roman Makarov (Mac).
