Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman are finding collaboration fruitful. Next month you’ll see the two in the thriller “Before I Go To Sleep” and they’ll soon be shooting the literary drama “Genius,” but their partnership commenced with “The Railway Man.” It’s a WWII-set piece about revenge and forgiveness, and if you didn’t catch it, we’re got some copies on Blu-ray for some lucky readers.
Also starring Stellan Skarsgård, Jeremy Irvine and Hiroyuki Sanada, the movie tells the story of Eric Lomax, a British Army officer captured by the Japanese during WWII and sent to a POW camp, where he is forced to work on the Thai-Burma Railway. Decades later, still suffering from wartime trauma, Lomax and his wife Patti discover that the Japanese interpreter responsible for much of his torment is still alive. The pair then resolve to confront their antagonist.
