She won an Oscar for her role in Woody Allen’s “Mighty Aphrodite, has dabbled in comedy films (“Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion”) and was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Marilyn Monroe in the HBO film “Norma Jean & Marilyn.” In honor of her most recent role in the BBC America series “Intruders,” Indiewire’s Casey Cipriani had a chance to speak to the actress in a moderated Apple Store talk.
In “Intruders,” Sorvino plays the role of a missing wife to a former LAPD officer. She chats with us about this opportunity, her fondness for comedy and even does a special voice from her past.
