It’s really, in a way, a brief, fun lesson in alchemy and history and science and archaeology,” “As Above, So Below” actor Ben Feldman told Yahoo. “Yeah, it’s scary as shit, but at the same time it’s an adventure movie, and that’s what drew me to it.” But if you need further endorsement, a new red band trailer for the horror flick has arrived.
John Erick Dowdle (“Devil,” “Quarantine“) directs this adventure/scare flick about a group of people trying to track down The Sorcerer’s Stone (yes, that one) who head into the catacombs beneath Paris. As you might guess, there are some nasty surprises waiting below the surface. To be honest, we haven’t been hearing much about this movie at all, and a red band trailer dropping a few days before its supposed to hit theaters seems like a late stage punt by Universal to get some eyeballs on it. But hey, it worked, since here we are watching this thing.
