‘Woman in Black’ and ‘Now You See Me’ Sequels Find Landing Dates in This Week’s Release Schedule Changes

'Woman in Black' and 'Now You See Me' Sequels Find Landing Dates in This Week's Release Schedule Changes

THIS WEEK’S RELEASE SCHEDULE CHANGES AND ADDITIONS

THE WOMAN IN BLACK 2—RELATIVITY—IN 1/30/15
CBS distributed the original but this time out it’s Relativity at the helm and January 30th of next year is the date for this second installment, going against Lionsgate’s "Flatliners"-like thriller "Lazarus", WB’s family adventure, "Max", with Lauren Graham and Thomas Haden Church and Paramount’s sci-fi title, "Project Almanac".  Daniel Radcliffe will not be back this time out.  Gotta figure "Larazus" might have to find another home with this announcement.

NOW YOU SEE ME 2—LIONSGATE—IN 6/10/16
Lionsgate’s surprise hit with Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Isla Fisher playing illusionists who pull off bank heists grossed a stunning $117 million in May of 2013 and they’re back again in 2016.  The film lands on a June 10th date that currently only has Sony’s adventure film, "Uncharted".

DIRTY GRANDPA—LIONSGATE—IN 12/25/15
This is listed as a tentative title and it does figure to change as there was already a film entitled "Bad Grandpa".  I’d hate to get my Johnny Knoxville and Robert De Niro movies confused.  Next Christmas is indeed jammed but this would be one of only two comedies for the holiday season, the other being the Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christmas-themed untitled comedy.  Christmas week currently has "Mission: Impossible 5", three, yes three,  Fox titles in David O. Russell’s "Joy", the Leonardo Di Caprio film, "The Revenant",  and "Kung Fu Panda 3".

ST. VINCENT—WEINSTEIN—IN 10/10/14 LTD  STILL 10/24/14 WIDE
