People sure love
themselves some “Love & Basketball” don’t they? If brothers hold “Scarface” so dear
to their hearts, then it must be the same for sisters and writer/director Gina
Prince-Bythewood’s “Love & Basketball”? Well at least that’s how it looks to me in my weird distorted
view of the world.
DVD has been out since 1999 and I’ve always assumed that the blu-ray
DVD of the film had been released as well, but that wasn’t the case at all.
But in fact on
February 3 “Love & Basketball” will finally make its blu-ray DVD debut from Warners Home Entertainment.
standard DVD release also included some commentaries, a documentary about the
making of the film, deleted scenes and other extras, and there’s no reason to believe
that those extras and perhaps some new ones won’t be included on the new
