Before you head out to whatever spooky event you have planned tonight, Arcade Fire have a little treat to share. The band, having wrapped their massive world tour for Reflektor, aren’t done sharing a few more goodies with fans. And a pretty nice one landed today.
The Montreal-based band dropped “Festi,” a 20-minute horror short. It’s a gleefully bonkers, lo-fi production, starring the band, that centers around Win Butler‘s 27th birthday and bunch of scary, wacky stuff that happens. Perhaps more notable than the “plot,” is the brace of faces that pop by, including Peter Gabriel, Slash, The National, Fleet Foxes, James Murphy, and Andrew Garfield. And oh, Terrence Malick gets a special thanks. Halloween treats don’t get much more endearingly random this, so square away some time and click below. [Pitchfork]
