Watch: 'Girls' Star Alex Karpovsky Plays Another Grouchy Hipster in Horror-Comedy 'Summer of Blood'

Onur Turkel’s genre blending “Summer of Blood” has just released an exclusive clip introducing the lackadaisical, disheveled, and socially awkward protagonist of the vampire comedy. The clip features Onur Tukel, who is also the writer and director, as Erik Sparrow. After being dumped by his girlfriend (Anna Margaret Hollyman, “White Reindeer”) Erik begins to date one ironic Williamsburg girl after the next, until he meets a vampire who transforms him into a horny bloodsucker. The film will be released in theaters & VOD on October 17th.

Alex Karpovsky of “Girls” is the ideal Brooklynite accent for Turkel’s film. A little more hipster than blood in this clip. Check it out below:
