Watch: Why Ridley Scott's AMC Miniseries About Jack Parsons Will be Bonkers

Deadline reported last week that Ridley Scott’s production company Scott Free Productions is officially developing “Strange Angel,” a biographic miniseries that tells the story of John Parsons, a scientist and co-founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory — who was also a major participant in occultist religion. 

Ridley Scott and David Zucker are set to executive produce the project and Mark Heyman will write. Heyman was most recently the co-writer for “The Skeleton Twins,” and he also co-wrote “Black Swan” and co-produced “The Wrestler.”
