With "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" wiping the history of the franchise mostly clean, it’s time to start recasting the roles of your favorite mutants, to join Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), and Quicksilver (Evan Peters). And it looks like Fox is starting with Jean Grey and Cyclops.
According to The Wrap, Chloe Moretz, Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld are among those considered for the role last incarnated by Famke Janssen. Those names have enough clout to suggest the Grey character will be a major part of the upcoming sequel (and the inevitable subsequent movies). However, that’s not the case for those taking over from James Marsden as Cyclops. The much lesser known Ben Hardy, Charlie Rowe and Timothee Chalamet are being looked at for that part.
So for now, speculate and debate below, and let us know if you like the direction this is going. "X-Men: Apocalypse" films next spring and will open on May 27, 2016.
