Ka'ramuu Kush Re-Releases His Award-Winning Short 'And Then..." In Anticipation of New Project Announcement

In anticipation of the official announcement of his next project, scheduled for next week Monday, writer/director Ka’ramuu Kush, winner of the 3rd Annual Shadow & Act Filmmaker Challenge, has re-released the award-winning short film, “And Then…,” which he co-wrote with Aisha Hinds and directed.

The buzzed-about film, after it’s initial limited online release, drew nearly 20,000 views, before the end of its brief streaming run; it was published on this blog a year ago, when it went live, and many of you got to see it. And now, the sexy, provocative short film is back for those who missed it, as Kush, who’s since been in his lab cooking up his next project, has re-released the short film online, which is embedded below.

“And Then…” is described as a coming of womanhood story that deals with
one woman’s confrontation of issues surrounding body image,
communication, and the psychology of sex.

The film stars Diandra Lyle, Vanessa Williams and Ka’ramuu himself.

Cheryl L. Bedford, Sean O’Halloran and Kush were all producers on the project.

The production team encourages you all to watch “And Then…” (especially if you didn’t see it when it was previously released) tonight, as a
lead-in to the season finale of “Scandal,” and they’ll be promoting it on Twitter with
the hashtag #AndThenb4Scandal. Kush will also be live-tweeting from 8-9PM EST/PST, so follow him @karamuu.

If you haven’t, read Jai Tiggett’s thoughtful interview with Kush, Aisha Hinds, Diandra Lyle and Vanessa Williams here, to get some back story on the making of the film, before watching it.

And finally, next Monday, the 24th, come back here to read about what Ka’ramuu will be tackling next.

Without further ado, #AndThenb4Scandal:
