Project of the Day: 'And Life'

Here’s your daily dose of an indie film in progress — at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

And Life

Tweetable Logline: Lead singer John Pearson’s world crumbles to ashes as his twin brothers death tears his life apart the night before their headlining tour.

Elevator Pitch: John Pearson, lead singer of Hunt the Wolf, must return to Austin, TX. to bury his brother after his fatal overdose the night before their first headlining tour, and piece together what remains of his life. The film explores the harsh realities of losing a twin, the overwhelming fog of grief, and our failure to prepare for deaths arrival in our lives. “And Life” takes us to the edge of the universe to find meaning in the most difficult times, beautifully blending science fiction and music into an eye opening drama on a topic we will all relate to.

Production Team:
Walker Walmus – Writer / Director
Lucas Grantham – Lead Actor / Producer
Christian Cisneros, Ima, Jacob Berardi – Assistant Producers

About the film: “Both Walker and I have lost really important people in our lives. Both of us have played in the same band. We have had serious conversations about our experiences, what we’ve suffered through and why the world doesn’t talk about the things that hurt and scare us the most.  We have healed because of our conversations. I don’t think we necessarily solved anything, but its has been a blessing to know that we aren’t the only ones who have gone through some of this stuff. We want people to know they aren’t alone in their grief.”
