Watch Trailer for 'Storms of Carnage: The Black Panther Unleashed Part 2' (A Fan-Made Film)

In July, I featured this fan-made short based on the Marvel comic book superhero from Wakanda, titled “Storms of Carnage: The Black Panther Unleashed,” written, directed, and edited by D.A. Jackson, starring Wester Joseph, Jeff Moise, Kieran McGrail, Stacston Carter, and D. Al’Deighmian Jackson.

Even Storm makes an appearance towards the end of it.

This was all months before Marvel made the official announcement of a Black Panther movie, with Chadwick Boseman in the starring role.

According to the filmmaker, the short, serving as a kind of origins movie, was made with “only about $50 and a bag of trail mix,” adding that, “we set out to make the best fan film we could imagine. ‘Storms of Carnage’ was the result. We hope you have as much fun watching it as we had making it. And keep an eye out for our upcoming behind the scenes!”

Overall, I appreciated the effort.

What I didn’t know was that there would be a part 2, which the team is currently hard at work on. And in anticipation of its eventual debut, they’ve released a teaser trailer for it, which I’ve embedded below. So check it out for a glimpse at what’s coming, while you wait for the big screen studio movie, which isn’t scheduled for release until 2017.

And underneath that, if you missed part 1 of “Storms of Carnage: The Black Panther Unleashed,” it’s also embedded below, underneath the trailer:

And here’s part 1:
