Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccolo of Eon Productions, along with MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment, will unveil the title and ensemble cast of the 24th James Bond film online this Thursday via live stream. Principal photography begins on Bond 24 the following Monday.
The live stream will be hosted at http://www.007.com beginning at 11 a.m. GMT (that’s 3 a.m. PST) on Thursday. The announcement will also be live-tweeted via the official James Bond handle @007, with a photo call to follow with the cast and director Sam Mendes, who brought scribes Neil Purvis and Robert Wade on board to polish John Logan’s screenplay.
Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the Ian Fleming-created Brit spy for the fourth time, with the rest of the cast expected to include Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q. The always malevolently charming Christoph Waltz has also been tapped to play Bond arch villain Blofeld.
This time around, "Interstellar" lenser Hoyte van Hoytema replaces Roger Deakins, who was Oscar-nominated for the 2012 moneymaker "Skyfall," also directed by Mendes. More on that here.
Live stream is below. US folks, check back here bright and early on Thursday when the announcement kicks off.
