The A.V. Club unveiled the second part of its best-of TV list today, comprising the Top 10 shows of the year. The winner, which seems to be gathering steam as more lists and polls accumulate, is “Hannibal,” which Erik Adams called “the best, most elegantly designed thrill ride on TV in 2014.” The highest-rated new series, in at number 2, was “Broad City,” followed by such now-familiar names as “The Americans,” “True Detective” and “The Good Wide.” The biggest outlier in the Top 10? “You’re the Worst,” which, Adams wrote, “provides millennials with their very own Harry and Sally.” Be sure to look over nos. 11-35 as well, which include “Rectify,” “Review,” “Jane the Virgin” and many more.
