Walter Latham Comedy Partners with Verizon

Details via press release below:

Verizon has partnered with the King of Comedy, Walter

Latham, to bring Latham’s comedy to viewers globally; it was announced today by Walter Latham, CEO

of Walter Latham Comedy.

Verizon’s Potential of Us platform continues to empower multicultural audiences by

encouraging them to let “technology power your passions.” Now, with its recent partnership with

Latham, a multitude of shows and new comedic talent will be offered at the fingertips of customers;

thereby satisfying the ongoing need for richer comedic entertainment. Verizon will symbiotically leverage

Latham’s platforms and partners as well in efforts to drive audiences to its Potentialofus.com content

“We have been exploring ways to partner with Verizon in the digital space for some time,” says

Latham. “An alliance between Verizon and the comedy world grew organically from more and more

people using their devices to access content and specifically comedy content. Aside from its overall

customer base, Verizon has taken particular interest in African American interests and Potential of Us

will provide the perfect soil for us to grow within that space.”

Viewers will also be able to access Latham’s comedy shows at home or on-the-go by visiting the

Walter Latham Channel on Hulu. Along with its library classics like “Original Kings of Comedy” and “P

Diddy Presents Bad Boys of Comedy,” Hulu viewers will enjoy “Walter Latham’s Comedy After Dark” one

hour special and “Michael Blackson’s Beauty & the Beast” parody series among others.

“We are very excited to be working with Hulu,” says Latham. “When we mentioned the idea of

Verizon helping us drive traffic to our new Hulu channel, it seemed to make sense to us all. This is a small

step in a much larger vision and we are happy to be in business with two first class operations.”
