2015 Golden Globe Predictions: Best Motion Picture - Drama

Indiewire’s Awards Editor Peter Knegt and TV Critic Ben Travers will
provide regular updates on the Golden Globe races leading up to the
ceremony on January 11, 2015.

The last two winners in this category — “Argo” and “12 Years a Slave” — have gone on to win Oscar’s top prize, though that’s actually only been the case three times in the past decade. Will 2015 continue the streak? It’s definitely down to “Boyhood” vs. “The Imitation Game.” If they go with “Game,” it still seems likely “Boyhood” wins the Oscar.

The Nominees:
“Boyhood”
“Foxcatcher”
“The Imitation Game”
Selma”
“The Theory of Everything”

Will Win: “The Imitation Game”
Could Win: “Boyhood”
Should Win: “Boyhood”
Shoulda Been Here: “Gone Girl”

Check out all our predictions (including the TV categories care of both Knegt and Indiewire TV Critic Ben Travers) here.
