2015 Golden Globe Predictions: Best Supporting Actress

2015 Golden Globe Predictions: Best Supporting Actress

Indiewire’s Awards Editor Peter Knegt and TV Critic Ben Travers will
provide regular updates on the Golden Globe races leading up to the
ceremony on January 11, 2015.

Can Meryl Streep win her whopping ninth Golden Globe for “Into The Woods”? She probably has a much better chance beating presumed frontrunner Patricia Arquette here than she does at the Oscars. We wouldn’t quite bet on it, but don’t be surprised either.

The Nominees:
Patricia Arquette, “Boyhood”
Jessica Chastain, “A Most Violent Year”

Keira Knightley, “The Imitation Game”
Emma Stone, “Birdman”
Meryl Streep, “Into The Woods”

Will Win: Patricia Arquette, “Boyhood”
Could Win: Meryl Streep, “Into The Woods”
Should Win: Jessica Chastain, “A Most Violent Year”

Shoulda Been Here: Tilda Swinton, “Snowpiercer”

Check out all our predictions (including the TV categories care of both Knegt and Indiewire TV Critic Ben Travers) here.
