Trailer Watch: Kat Dennings Struggles to Stay Sober and Alive in 'To Write Love on Her Arms'

One of the smaller-profile films from Sony to be hacked and released online illegally is To Write Love on Her Arms, a biopic of Christian singer Renee Yohe, who struggled with addiction, depression, and self injury in her late teens and early twenties.

Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, TV’s 2 Broke Girls) stars as Yohe, whose story was the inspiration for the nonprofit org To Write Love on Her Arms, which reaches out to young people in need of treatment through music festivals and tours, social networking sites, and schools and universities.

Written by Kate King Lynch, the film chronicles Yohe’s struggles and the origins of the org with extravagant visuals and a surprising warmth of tone.

To Write Love on Her Arms will open in March.
