Attention, Filmmakers: Nantucket Film Festival Screenplay Competition Final Deadlines Closing In

If you’re looking for places to submit a script you’ve written — aside from the better known Sundance Institute, Tribeca Film Institute and the in-house writing programs at various networks — look no further than the Nantucket Film Festival Screenplay Competition.

The festival accepts a broad range of scripts: shorts, features and television pilots (half-hour and hour-long).

Feature Film competition prizes include $5,000 in cash, a VIP pass to the festival and an all-expenses-paid stay at the Nantucket Screenwriters’ Colony. In addition to the consultation with an executive at Showtime, the winners of the Television Pilot competition will receive $1,000 in cash and a VIP pass to the festival.

Although today marks the final day to submit by the regular deadline, fear not for there are still two additional submission deadlines over the next month.

Mark your calendars and start sprucing up your work.
