'CITIZENFOUR' Director Laura Poitras and Subject Edward Snowden to Participate in Live New York Times Talk

CITIZENFOUR” distributor RADiUS-TWC has announced plans for a “TimesTalks” event on February 12 featuring a live conversation with Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Laura Poitras, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald and government-surveillance whistleblower Edward Snowden to discuss the acclaimed documentary.
Nominated this year for Best Documentary, “CITIZENFOUR” follows the story of how Poitras,  Greenwald and Snowden met and brought Snowden’s findings on the National Security Agency’s worldwide electronic surveillance program to public knowledge.
Poitras and Greenwald will join Carr on stage, while Snowden will participate via live video from Russia. The event will take place at The New School in Manhattan from 6:45 – 7:45 p.m. ET.
