Tweetable Logline: An intimate portrait of three couples on a beach weekend that tests the strength of their relationships.
Elevator Pitch: “That’s Not Us” is a romantic comedy about making love last even when it’s not always sexy. This improv film follows 3 couples on a beach weekend in Fire Island, but a day in the waves, a wine-soaked dinner, and midnight skinny dipping aren’t enough to mask the vulnerabilities in their relationships.

About the Project: From Director Will Sullivan and DP Derek Dodge: “We wanted to make a film where we could have complete creative freedom, and would all be about the experience of telling a story that we really cared about. As we approached our two year anniversary together, we weren’t seeing a lot of gay couples in long term relationships on screen that we could identify with. We wanted to tell a story not about falling in love, but about the marathon of romance – people who are in it for the long run.”
Current Status: Post-production
