Winfrey must be thanking her lucky stars that she went into business with Tyler Perry.
The arrangement has proven to be a very beneficial one to her and to the Oprah
Winfrey Network and now even more so.
This past Tuesday
Tyler Perry’s “The Have and Have Nots” and “If Loving You is Wrong” both delivered viewership highs in the history
Both shows pulled
in an average of 2.5 million viewers and The Have and Have Nots, which aired it’s season’s finale, pulled in alone 3.5 million viewers.
Not only was
the show the most watched show on cable Tuesday night, but it also was the most
watched show ever on the network breaking the previous record holder of Oprah’s
interview with Bobby Kristina Brown on Oprah’s Next Chapter, a month after the
death of her mother, Whitney Houston.
