Fox’s “Empire” lives up to its title: It’s one of the biggest new shows on television, giving “SNL” just enough reason to spoof it. In the parody, Thor himself Chris Hemsworth joins the “Empire” cast as the coveted “white guy,” satirically filling a void left in the show. Kenan Thompson impersonates Terrence Howard’s character, Lucious.

“Empire” stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, and airs on Fox Wednesdays at 9pm. “Saturday Night Live” airs… on Saturday nights.
