Watch: If Wes Anderson Made a 'X-Men' Movie, It'd Look Like 'The Uncanny X-Men'

What would you get if Wes Anderson directed “X-Men?” A red velvet smoking jacket-clad Magneto, a naively bespectacled Iceman, a pink bow tie-wearing Beast, and a disarmingly dead-eyed and monotone Jean Grey, that’s what.
In this fan-made trailer, Patrick Willems gleefully converts Charles Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters into something decidedly Anderson-esque, complete with all the accoutrements we’ve come to know and love — from quaint typewritten acceptance letters, to a charming library outfitted with a portrait of Captain Jean-Luc Picard… and there are some satisfying slapstick face-punches in there as well.
Watch the video below for a look at an uncannily Wes Anderson-ified Wolverine (he’s the school’s beer-shotgunning art teacher in residence, of course) and more.
