Fans who have been anticipating the big screen adaptation of HBO’s hugely successful “Entourage,” ever since the comedy series signed off the air in September 2011, can finally see just how huge Vince, Eric, Turtle, Johnny Drama and Ari will be on the big screen, thanks to a hilarious, cameo-packed new trailer.
“Entourage” was always at its best when it successfully mixed wicked showbiz satire with humorous bromance antics, and the new trailer suggests the movie is heading in the right direction by appealing to both strengths. While the trailer hints at some of the plot developments — mainly Vince’s attempt to direct his first feature and Eric and Sloan’s pregnancy — the trailer ultimately belongs to the endless parade of guest stars. Not only are show favorites like Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rex Lee, Bob Saget, Mark Wahlberg and Andrew Dice Clay all returning, but also jumping on board are Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Alba, Liam Neeson, George Takei, Pharrell, Ronda Rousey, David Spade, Warren Buffett, Armie Hammer, Tom Brady and more. It’s the kind of ridiculous cameo roster only an “Entourage” movie could assemble.
“Entourage” hits theaters nationwide June 5.
