La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival 2015

La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival 2015

Now in it’s 6th year, La Jolla International Fashion
Film Festival has evolved into the annual global marketplace for the fashion film community. Scouted by Hollywood and international agents and
distributors, filmmakers fly in worldwide to be seen and make new industry connections.

From the fashion capitals of the world to the entertainment capital
of the world, hundreds of global industry players come together to network, watch top films, learn, participate, win awards, make deals, and attend
fabulous After Parties.

With fashion film now firmly established as a worldwide art movement, La Jolla, the host of the International Fashion Film Awards,
gives recognition and empowerment to the creative professionals producing excellence in the farthest corners of our world. Authentically enhancing the
careers of creative professionals everywhere is the goal of La Jolla.

Each year La Jolla’s global audience is enthralled by the visual wizardry and
spellbinding storytelling of the world’s best fashion film directors. The After Parties go late into the night as networking, deal-making, and partying take
over from the daytime activities.

La Jolla’s official cause partner is the United Nations’ Ethical Fashion Initiative. Representatives from Geneva
Switzerland, Simone Cipriani and Chloe Mukai are on hand to explain how they move marginalized communities worldwide into the global value chain thereby
benefiting all.

The LJIFFF’s renowned Red Carpet gives guests and celebrities their paparazzi moment and the chance to be interviewed by the world press.
Festival goers delight as the costumes and collection pieces featured in the nominated films are displayed and worn on the Red Carpet. Fashion designers
mingle with filmmakers in this planetary fusion of the fashion and film arts.

“For the last five years a new but very influential film festival has climbed
to dominate the fashion industry scene as the leading international marketplace for fashion films.

La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival has all the
attributes of a high profile film festival, not only because is the world’s largest gathering of fashion filmmakers but also because is held in the
venerable San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art/La Jolla, nested in the picturesque coastal village of La Jolla and surrounded by collectible curated art,
fine restaurants, designers boutiques, five stars hotels, lush foliage, balmy weather, Spanish and avant garde architecture and of course, is uniquely
framed by the magnificent visual bounty the Pacific Ocean could offer.

In a nutshell, La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival is “suburban sunny
California meets cosmopolitan Paris, London and Milan in a creative rendezvous of cinematic narrative full of style and glamorous fashion”. George Leon,
President of Filmcast Live.
