Rumor: Ernie Hudson Lining Up ‘Black Panther’ Role

Rumor: Ernie Hudson Lining Up 'Black Panther' Role

It looks like somebody has given Ernie Hudson something else to do other than complain about the “Ghostbusters” movies that have women, or how the franchise didn’t make him as famous as he thought he would be. Marvel apparently has an open spot on the roster, giving Hudson another chance to step into the blockbuster playground.

Latino Review reports that Hudson is circling the role of King T’Chaka. He is the ruler of Wakanda, the home of Black Panther (set to be played by Chadwick Boseman), and in comics lore, he was murdered by Ulysses Klaw (played by Andy Serkis in the upcoming “Avengers: Age Of Ultron“). So, will we see the character pop up in “Captain America: Civil War,” where Black Panther is also expected to drop by? Or is he just prepping for the solo “Black Panther” movie (which seems doubtful since it doesn’t drop until 2018)? We’ll leave the guesswork to you.

As always, it’s a rumor, and Marvel plans are subject to change, so just take it with a grain of salt for now.
