A 2013 Oscar nominee for Best Animated Short Film, Reckart’s stop-motion animated “Head Over Heels” cleverly examined a marriage in which the wife lives on the ceiling and the husband on the floor. Reckart also has a BA in history and literature form Harvard and currently works in animation in New York.
Recently, Reckart was listed among Variety’s 10 Animators to Watch.
