A veteran marketing and distribution exec, Dylan Wiley has been working with the company since November and will be managing Broad Green’s specialty film slate across all media.
Under his stead, Broad Green Pictures plans to go full speed ahead on releasing eight to 12 specialty titles a year, with varying release strategies including theatrical and VOD. The specialty film slate will be primarily focused on acquisitions and co-productions.
Additionally the studio is in development on numerous original and IP-based projects to be announced and begin production in the coming months.
Broad Green Pictures’ growing specialty slate includes two titles whose acquisition Wiley negotiated for the company: Sundance’s Robert Redford starrer “A Walk in the Woods” and “I Smile Back” with Sarah Silverman. The company is also releasing Mia Hansen-Love’s “Eden” and Ramin Bahrani’s “99 Homes,” and is working closely with Terrence Malick on “Knight of Cups,” “Voyage of Time” and the yet-to-be-titled project starring Ryan Gosling and Rooney Mara.
Wiley served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Entertainment One Films US, where he launched the company’s theatrical arm. Wiley also worked in marketing at New Line Cinema, managing the release of over 90 well-known titles.
