Tone Bell and Bresha Webb are one-half of a couples comedy coming to NBC this fall, from producer Will Packer, titled “People Are Talking.” which examines sex, race and everything else your parents told you never to talk about.
The other couple is played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Meaghan Rath.
In the half-hour comedy series, the couples are best friends as well as neighbors.
NBC has set the series to air on Friday nights.
Worth noting… it’s the second Will Packer-produced pilot that has been ordered to series for next season – the other going to ABC, the comedy remake “Uncle Buck,” which will star Mike Epps in the title role, and Nia Long as his wife. He also has a handful of movies at various stages of production currently, so he’s clearly a very busy man.
