Batman and Poe Dameron, so to speak, will be in the same movie —but this ain’t no crossover. Two of our favorite actors, Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac, are teaming up for a new project, and it certainly sounds promising.
The Wrap reports that the pair will star in "The Promise," the latest effort from "Hotel Rwanda" director Terry George, who co-wrote the script with Robin Swicord ("Memoirs Of A Geisha," "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button"). The story will be set against the backdrop of the Armenian genocide and follow an AP reporter (Bale) and medical student (Isaac) who fall for the same woman.
Production will begin this fall, so maybe the movie will be a contender on the awards circuit in 2016?
