Concept Art For George Miller's Wonder Woman And Aquaman From 'Justice League' Revealed

Last week, it was revealed that a documentary was in the works about George Miller‘s aborted “Justice League,” Warner Bros. previous attempt at the superhero teamup movie that collapsed due to a swirling combination of rising budget costs, the writer’s strike, and more. It’s one of the more tantalizing “what if?” movies of the past few years, and the filmmakers behind the doc are stoking the fire for their developing movie even further.

Over the weekend, they tweeted out concept art from Miller’s movie of Wonder Woman (who would’ve been played by Megan Gale), Aquaman (who wasn’t cast before production shut down), and Martian Manhunter (rumored for Miller’s pal Hugh Keays-Byrne, who plays Immortan Joe in “Mad Max: Fury Road“). It’s an interesting glimpse, and you’ll have to use a bit of imagination to picture how it would’ve turned out once Miller put his touch on it, and if it contained any of his visceral approach to ‘Fury Road,’ it certainly would’ve been interesting.

The documentary “Miller’s Justice League Mortal” is still coming together, and at the moment, Miller is not involved, and it seems director Ryan Unicomb will be unable to move on without his thumbs up, as well as those from other key players. [Collider]
