The official poster has been unveiled for the 17th annual Provincetown International Film Festival (PIFF), which is set to showcase some of the best films hitting the festival circuit this year.

For the third year in a row, PIFF has enlisted Ultra Creative for the poster design. In this year’s vibrant offering, iconic imagery associated with the arts colony — including idiosyncratic architecture and a classic town sign — has been integrated into the key art along with one central message: “Filmmaking on the edge.”

Major films set to screen at this year’s PIFF include the controversial James Franco pic “I Am Michael,” Lily Tomlin’s potential Oscar vehicle “Grandma” and the warmly-received ensemble comedy “Sleeping with Other People.” Beloved cult director Bobcat Goldthwait and comedy scene-stealer Jennifer Coolidge will be honored with lifetime achievement prizes.

The 17th annual Provincetown International Film Festival runs from June 17-21. Check out the exclusive poster above.
